LA Kings Display Tokens of their Fallen Foes

The front office of the Los Angeles Kings is slightly more decorated this afternoon… much like taking war trophies after a victory, from the roof hangs the rally towels and thunder sticks of all the teams they have eliminated during these 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs.  Vancouver Canucks and St. Louis Blues in back, and Phoenix’s “BEAT LA” towel up front.

It’s getting harder and harder to not love this team.

It’s actually getting all sorts of really f***ing easy not to love this team!

^speak for yourself. I’m a Canucks fan, and even I think that’s pretty neat. Still though, ABLA-wagoning.

Time worn tradition, collecting mementos of the defeated enemy. Still not a Kings fan, though, hockey still does not belong in sunny environments. I will root for a NHL team in Alaska or someplace else where it’s freezing. Go Anchorage Yetis! Go Greenland Gangrene! Go Yukon Golddiggers! Go Fairbanks Walrusses!
