TCU Horned Frogs Unveil New Uniforms

The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs football team took the criticism from fans to heart and unveiled re-designed uniforms for this upcoming 2012 season.

Made by Nike using anthracite (which is apparently a fabric made using coal, bizarre right?), the Horned Frogs tweeted out photos of three uniforms and a new helmet.

See below for the photos Tweeted by the school earlier this week:

I’m normally not so harsh on any logos or uniforms, but these unis are just awful!!! What were they thinking, or were they?

  2. dp says:

Awful. NIKE seems to think they have to re-invent the uniforms. Maybe try keeping them simple, with team colors, but with new materials. What’s with all the gray? Drab.

  3. Boyee says:

TCU’s color’s are purple and white, what’s with the gray? and why is the helmet logo off center?

  4. Alex says:

These are horrible. Just plain horrible.

  5. Dan says:

Are you guys kidding me??!!?? You guys are blind! These uniforms are pretty cool, I would take these uniforms over most of the new nike NFL uniforms anyday!!
