It seems to happen every spring, a new NFL uniform has been leaked via a Madden EA Sports screenshot or trailer.
This year is no different, as a since-removed video posted to YouTube by EA Sports previewing their upcoming Madden NFL 12 video game showed both the new home and new road uniforms of the Buffalo Bills.
As expected the uniforms are a nod to the past, a slightly-modernized interpretation of the various incarnations of their 1974-1983 look.

The blue charging buffalo logo remains the same but will now be featured on a white helmet, a blue/white/red/white/blue stripe down the middle and a grey facemask.
At home it’s a return to royal blue jerseys, red/white/red stripes around the neck, two red/white/red stripes around the arms, jersey numbers are white with no trim. The BILLS wordmark appears under the collar in white. Pants are white with a blue/red/blue stripe down the side.
On the road it’s the opposite of the homes, white jerseys with red/blue/red around the neck. The arms have two red/blue/red stripes around the arms with blue numbers on the chest, backs and arms. Pants are royal blue with a white/red/white stripe down the leg.
Personally, I love the new look, it’s clean, it’s crisp, it’s just a good-looking uniform all around. Hopefully the team will perform as well as they look in the years to come.
Oddly enough, a graphical rendering of this new uniform has been available to anybody on Wikipedia since before the Super Bow courtesy a user named “JohnnySeoul”, a shame it went unnoticed until now.

LOVE IT! I just hope they have some white socks for the blue pants. Blue pants over blue socks doesn’t work well in my opinion.
Yeah, what are the chances they end up wearing the uniforms as they are pictured here? The last design were supposed to be worn blue jersey/white pants and white jersey/blue pants. But they wore blue over blue and white over white and looked ridiculous doing so. Let’s hope they stick to this. If so, it’s one of the largest leaps forward in a long time.

The new uniforms look like a combo of the 60s and 70s. Let’s just go back to the 90s uniforms, the ones they wore when they use to win more than four games a year. I hope they remember that these are UNIFORMS, everyone wears the same color shoes. Not one guy wearing black, one wearing red and one wearing white. Look at the Pats unis. They are a team, they all dress the same. Also, keep the socks pulled up to the knees, not down around the ankles like a 3 year old girl.
I love it! They look great. I agree that they should wear the blue jerseys with white pants and white jerseys with blue pants. Hopefully they’ll have blue facemasks. The white helmets with the charging buffalo are awesome. Glad they’re not using that alternative Broncos/Titans/Ravens stripe on the helmet and those ugly Broncos stripes on the pants. This is a great decision. Their uniforms from the mid to late 70’s through 1983 were the best pro sports uniforms of all-time. Thank you to whoever is responsible for this.
I had a totally different look envisioned of the Bills uniforms. I thought they would use the orginal 1960 Bills silver helmet, with a red stripe up the middle, with the Bills Logo on the side. The jerseys would be blue with silver numbers with red lining around the numbers. The pants would be similar to Steelers pants, with large striped color on side of leg, either red, white or blue, with pants being three colors, red pant, or blue pant or white pant. A nifty combination that would have been.

I’m sure the uniforms will be a lot better than the ones the Bills sported from 2002 thorugh 2010. Those uniforms were so ugly.
I absolutely hated them.
Boring uniforms, helmet looks good though.
